Book a Try Dive

In the safe confines of the pool, a BSAC Dive Leader or Instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time.

A typical Try Dive session lasts about 2 Hours. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in a pool with a BSAC-qualified Dive Leader.

What our members say...

I joined EAB 11 when I moved to Norwich in 1979. In those days the Club was based in Sheringham. We’d meet at the hut, pump the small grey inflatable up, and carry it down the steps to the beach. We made several trips up and down carrying the engine, fuel, paddles, and our own equipment. Most of our dives were on the “Gullies” about half a mile from the Lifeboat slipway. Standard practice was to anchor the boat, kit up, and roll over the side. We swam up tide and up and down the channels in the chalk reef. When air was getting low we drifted back and hopefully surfaced somewhere near the boat. If we missed it, there was always a swim to help keep fit.

I joined EAB 11 a few years ago. It was the best decision to become part of this great diving team. I have gain new experiences and skills whilst diving with other members off our amazing coast. The friends I have made has been amazing, they have helped me gain confidence in the water and have increased my understanding of different types of diving.

I have been a member of EAB 11 for about 15 years. EAB 11 gives me the ability to do as much diving as I can, weather permitting, whilst being independent from constraints that can limit your diving. Also, EAB 11 gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of like minded people who I can go diving with.
